Oscar

Oscar McField draws upon 20-plus years of experience in light construction and property inspections to support Home State Inspections’ growth and client relationships. His background includes hands-on involvement in residential construction, large-scale developments, and inspection services, providing him with a practical, field-informed understanding of how properties are built, maintained, and evaluated.

Working throughout Southern California—home to some of the country’s most valuable real estate—Oscar has supported major developments and high-net-worth clientele through property inspections for real estate developers, and as a loss control surveyor for several of the nation’s largest insurance carriers. He is known for operating with discretion, professionalism, and respect for client privacy, particularly in sensitive and high-value environments.

Outside of work, Oscar enjoys life in Southern California, has a genuine love for dogs, and actively supports and advocates for causes that strengthen local communities.

Juan

For over a decade, Juan McField has provided reliable property inspection services to a diverse range of clients across Southern California. He ensures that real estate inspections not only meet but often exceed the standards set by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and the CCPIA ComSOP, while his insurance inspections align with industry standards and regulations. As a proactive loss control representative, Juan identifies potential hazards and works to mitigate risks through detailed surveys. His practical recommendations help underwriters make well-informed decisions, reduce financial exposure, and create safer environments for everyone involved.

In his current role, Juan oversees daily inspection operations, including scheduling, quality assurance, and field inspections. He also manages the drone fleet’s maintenance, inventory, and regulatory compliance. Juan holds certifications from InterNACHI, OSHA, and is a licensed FAA UAS pilot.

On a personal note, Juan finds joy in living in sunny Southern California, where he pursues hobbies such as art and photography. Juan also spends several weeks each year fishing and diving in Belize, where his family owns and operates a fishing tour company.
